Monochrome Checks

Wednesday 25th February 2015

Well hi there style friends and a very warm welcome to todays post! I’m here to share another OOTD with you all :).

I don’t know about you but I just love a good sale find! There’s nothing better than discovering something you’ve been after at a reduced price! That’s exactly what happened to me on my latest shopping trip! I was shopping in my local Select when I came across this trendy checked fringe cardigan; I just couldn’t leave this beauty behind! I was instantly drawn to the unusual tassel design and monochrome check pattern – one of my favourite colour mixes. What I really like about this gorgeous cardigan is how stylish and fashionable it makes me feel when wearing it. Plus the tassels are so beautiful! I love how perfectly they flow when I walk and any little breeze make them come alive. Tassels are also perfect for tapping into the 70’s trend – which is set to be huge for Spring/Summer 2015.

Tan Detail

Monday 23rd February 2015

Hi there fashion friends! How are you this Monday evening? I hope that you are all well and have had a wonderful weekend! I don’t know about you but I’ve been totally hooked on all action from London Fashion Week! Even though I’ve not been there in person I love watching the live steaming of the runway shows. My favourites so far have been Burberry and Vivienne Westwood! Have you had the chance to watch any of the shows? If you have what has been your favourite one show so far?

I picked up the cream jumper that I am wearing in today’s OOTD on my last visit to Primark. Costing just £6 I simply couldn’t resist it; I was instantly drawn to the wintry cream shade and the loose fit design. I also like the drop sleeve, it’s so stylish and adds a nice unusual touch. If you would like one of these tops for yourself they are available to buy in store now and also come in grey, red and a beautiful green.

Pink Pop

Saturday 21st February 2015

Hi there fashionistas! I’m here today to share another outfit post with you all! I hope that you like it :).

I really do love black and white, it’s one of my most loved colour combinations 🙂 It’s such a striking mix which always looks stylish and is always in fashion. Loving black and white I just had to pick up this jumper which was on special offer in H&M for just £7 – talk about a great fashion find!

Using my monochrome jumper as a base I decided to use my pink Cambridge Satchel as the statement piece of my outfit which provides the perfect pop of colour. I adore how my pink satchel stands out against the black and white mix – the pretty pink really does pop! Matching the pink of my Cambridge Satchel to perfection I just had to wear the gorgeous Chanel lipstick ‘La Romanesque’. I really like how well they match and compliment today’s OOTD.

Chanel Rouge Allure – Coromandel #98

Wednesday 18th February 2015

I’m so excited to share today’s post as it’s all about one of my favourite things – Chanel lipstick! I want to introduce you to ‘Coromandel’ a gorgeous orangey red Rouge Allure lipstick.

This striking shade is part of Chanel’s famous range of red lipsticks and is a very popular shade. Coromandel is a highly pigmented colour that does not disappoint. This totally statement worthy, bold and bright lip provides a perfect luminous finish and a perfect pop of colour. Application is soft and smooth and full opaque coverage is achievable after just one swipe! (However I like to wear two for a bold, full on lip.)

What I really like about Coromandel is it’s staying power! This gorgeous lipstick lasts on the lips for a whopping 6 hours! That’s what I love about Chanel lipsticks – the colour really does last all day! At this point I reapply to achieve full colour once again.

As far as packaging goes Chanel really are hard to beat! The Rouge Allure tube is gorgeous and sleek, elegant and timeless, everything you’d expect from a Chanel product. With the signature interlocking double ‘C’s on top and ‘Chanel’ written in white on the tube: it’s to die for!
