I always enjoy finding out what gifts other people have received and thought why not share some of my favourite birthday gifts with my lovely fashion friends too! I thought it would be a fun, fashionable post to share with you which I hope you enjoy reading 🙂 Please note – I am not trying to brag or show off in any way! This is simply a fun, birthday post sharing my favourite gifts that have been kindly gifted to me with love. So please enjoy reading! Good evening fashion lovers! I hope that you are all well and having a wonderful Wednesday!
I’m so excited to share today’s post as it’s all about my latest visit to London! Over the weekend I was lucky enough to visit the Capital for my birthday weekend and I had such an amazing time sightseeing and of course shopping hehe! (I’ll be sharing my fashion finds from my London shopping adventure in my next post!)
I went up to the top of The Shard and also visited Buckingham Palace, Leicester Square, Tower Bridge, and Trafalgar Square where today’s OOTD photos were taken 🙂 – a perfect spot to show off my outfit while taking in the sights. I hope that you like them 🙂 Being January the weather was rather cold so I decided to stay stylish and warm in my grey animal print coat from Topshop and my favourite black fluffy hat which I’m sure you may recognise if you follow me on Instagram from a few of my Instasnaps ;). My grey animal print coat has been part of my coat collection for a while and I still love it as much as the first day I bought it! It’s lovely, warm and ever so stylish! The cocoon shape is so fashionable I just love the loose fitting style and how it hangs off my shoulders, this coat is just perfect for hanging around sightseeing and shopping around the city!

Hey fashionistas! Today is a special day as it’s my BIRTHDAY! Woohoooo! I just wanted to share a quick post with you all before I head on out to celebrate! I’m so excited as this year I’m spending my birthday weekend in London! I really do enjoy visiting London, it’s one of my favourite cities, I adore all the scenery, fashion and not forgetting street style! I can’t wait to see what fellow fashionistas will be wearing. I also love handbag spotting and checking out what the latest ‘it’ bags are. On my previous visit it was all about the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 bag and the might Chanel Boy Bag, I wonder what arm candy I will spot this time? A visit to London isn’t complete without a little bit of shopping and with that being said I can’t wait to visit the Chanel Beauty Boutique in Covent Garden. I’ve been impatiently waiting for weeks to check out the 2015 Chanel Spring Collection and the new lippies and nail varnish colours. I’m also looking forward to visiting the Michael Kors store on Regent Street! I’ve never visited the Regent Street store before so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like :). I think it’s safe to say that I’ll be taking a visit to Harrods too – a shopping trip to London wouldn’t be complete without calling in at this prestigious store ;).

I welcome you to ‘La Diva’ a Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick by Chanel, an intensely pigmented, bold fuchsia pink with cool undertones. Application is soft and smooth drying to the perfect hydrating matte finish. Just the right alternative to shine. A true velvet lipstick with a pretty intense finish; it’s special formula doesn’t feel too drying on the lips and feels amazingly comfortable to wear – no heavy clumpy texture. What I really like about La Diva is it’s amazing staying power; one swipe is all that is needed to achieve full opaque colour which lasts for hours! I find I normally get between 3 – 5 hours wear before this beautiful colour begins to fade into a gorgeous pink stain, at this point I reapply to achieve full colour intensity. I’m really fond of how La Diva brightens my whole complexion and makes my lips come to life – a totally statement worthy, lip colour.
As far as packaging is concerned, Chanel is pretty hard to beat. The tube is classy, elegant and ever so timeless. I adore the signature gold interlocking C’s on top, this iconic image is the definition of Chanel and always makes me feel extra stylish when I see it. La Diva is the brightest pink that I own and is truly a unique member of my lipstick collection. This is a staple of my lipstick collection and I will definitely be replacing La Diva when it runs out.
I have tried numerous lipsticks but have never come across one as beautiful and bright as La Diva! The quality of lip colour is outstanding and in my opinion would be hard to duplicate, I can not recommend it enough! La Diva is one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried and is fully worth the £26 price tag, even though it seems expensive, it’s Chanel and get exactly what you pay for! Amazing colour and amazing quality that lasts.

Ok, it’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tartan. I simply adore this traditional Scottish print and just how wonderfully stylish it is! I think it’s the striking mix of colours blending together that I love. I discovered the cute, red, skirt in today’s OOTD in my local charity shop for only £3! Being bang on trend and ever so pretty I couldn’t leave it behind! I was so excited to get it home and try it on! This stylish skirt was originally from New Look. I missed out on it first time round so was quite pleased to discover it in my favourite thrifty store! It must have been waiting for me ;). Unfortunately this gorgeous skirt can’t be purchased from New Look anymore but I have found a very similar version that is available from ASOS which is just as nice! I’ve popped the link for you below so you can check it out 🙂
I am very much enjoying wearing high-neck tops this winter and I decided a black Primark version would look perfect tucked into my red tartan skater skirt. I adore the colour contrast between the red and black! Costing just £5 this fashionable top has been a great addition to my winter wardrobe. I like the cosy fit and trendy look of these fashionable tops. In fact I like this top so much I had to pop back to Primark and buy the grey and cream version too! I can’t wait to wear them! I really can’t resist a good Primark bargain ;).
