Hi there fashion friends! It’s October 31st which means Halloween has arrived! What are your plans for this frightful Friday? Tonight I’m looking forward to celebrating Halloween with my friends, we will be carving pumpkins and of course talking all things fashion! I love Halloween! Even if I’m not getting dressed up in costume I still enjoy playing with my style and having fun!

You may be able to spot a special something in my outfit photos today…? If not, take a closer look! Have you noticed what it is yet? I’m sure you have! I welcome you to Coco – my Chanel inspired pumpkin! As you all know I have a great love for all things Chanel and with it being Halloween I decided to create my own Chanel inspired pumpkin! I have to admit, she is the most chic and fashionable Halloween decoration I have ever seen! Isn’t she fabulous! I shall be celebrating Halloween with Coco tonight – Chanel style!

Halloween isn’t always about getting dressed up in fancy dress, it can also be really stylish! Its the best time of the year to experiment with different styles and outfits. I decided to get into the spooky spirit by wearing all black to create a dark, mysterious look – perfect for Halloween! Wearing one colour makes my outfit striking, bold and strong.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet – La Fascinante #38

Wednesday 29th October 2014

I welcome you to La Fascinante, a Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet lipstick. A beautiful, classy red with pink undertones which vary slightly depending on your natural lip colour and skin tone. La Fascinante appears a dark brick red in the bullet but when applied a beautiful rose red is visible on my lips. This is a hydrating lipstick, application is smooth, drying to the perfect matte finish. I find that I get around 4 hours of wear before the colour begins to fade to a beautiful stain of pinky red, at this point I usually reapply. I find La Fascinante compliments my pale skin perfectly.

What I love most about La Fascinante is how intense the red appears on my lips. It reminds me of vintage Hollywood Glamour. Out of Chanel’s lipstick line the Rouge Allure Velvet is one of my favourites. The formula is amazing. A true matte lipstick with a pretty intense finish. The perfect alternative to shine. The lip colour feels weightless. No heavy feeling or clumpy texture on the lips. As mentioned in my previous Chanel lipstick post the Rouge Allure packaging is to die for! The tube is sleek and stylish with the signature interlocking C’s on top which is of course – all very Chanel.

Grey Dogtooth

Good afternoon fashion friends! How is your Tuesday so far? I hope that you are all doing well and have had a lovely weekend! I was lucky enough to spend my Sunday in London! I traveled down for a bit of sightseeing and also to watch the NFL at Wembley Stadium with my boyfriend. I’m not a sport’s lover myself but I really enjoyed the American football experience, it was great! But that’s enough about that! Let me talk you through today’s outfit post :).

As I am sure everyone is now aware, I am totally obsessed with the cape this season! My Autumn/Winter wardrobe is slowly being taken over by ponchos, capes and blanket coats! After buying my first cape a few weeks ago from Topshop I’ve not been able to stop buying them – literally! The cape I am wearing today is the fourth -yes, fourth! I have bought this month! I think I may be a bit obsessed… But I’ll let you be the judge of that!

I’ve been enjoying wearing capes so much that last week I went shopping in search of another. After having a good look around various shops I decided to buy the Grey Dogtooth Cape from Select. When I tried it on I instantly fell in love with how beautifully it hangs off my shoulders and how warm it feels. Even though I have quite a few capes in my A/W collection I couldn’t resist buying another! At a cost of £12.99 I thought it would be rude not to. I fell in love with the subtle mixture of grey shades and dog tooth print. I especially like the fringing around the edge and the flower pattern towards the bottom of the cape; the mix of both prints is so unusual. The colour of this cape makes it the perfect addition to the others in my collection and will match plenty in my wardrobe. I am looking forward to wearing it through Autumn and styling it in many different ways.

P1030617Good morning fashionistas! How has your day been so far? I hope you are all well! Today’s post is all about my latest vintage fashion fix.

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will probably know that I have a great love for all things vintage and special one-off items. My passion for vintage began many years ago and as I’ve become older it’s only grown stronger!
Even though I love keeping up with the latest trends and owning the next ‘must have’ item, I enjoy the thrill of searching for a special unique item that no one is currently wearing and adding it to my wardrobe!

Burgundy Black

Friday 24th October 2014

Hi there fashionistas! A very Happy Friday to you all 🙂 The weekend is nearly here! Which means almost time to shop! Yay!

Berry shades are bang on trend for this time of year and with that being said, I welcome you to Burgundy Black. For today’s OOTD I have mixed black with my favourite colour for Autumn – Burgundy! Black and burgundy look beautiful together, they are the perfect Autumn mix. When worn with black, burgundy turns into a rich Autumn hue. Deep burgundy along with wine reds are the colours to wear at this time of year.

How cute is the fluffy jumper that I am wearing today? I ordered it online from Select a few days ago and it arrived this morning – yay! I must say, I am obsessed with it already! It feels so nice, snugly and warm – I love it! The design is great. A cropped fit – which means endless styling options! Paired over a dress or with a high wasted skirt, it can be worn many different ways! I can’t wait to show it off all Autumn long! What’s good about this jumper is the fit, not to big or too small, it’s perfect. There are a variety of colours available besides black – a beautiful bright blue and a deep magenta – both which are on my A/W wishlist. At £13.99, these jumpers are affordable and chic; the perfect fashion fix for your Autumn wardrobe!

In case you hadn’t noticed, I am in love with hats at the moment! I can’t seem to stop wearing them! I have been searching a long time for the right Autumn hat and was so pleased when I came across the burgundy floppy hat that I am wearing today. Another fashion buy from select and again very reasonably priced at £12.99 – half the price of other high street brands, I think its immaculate! The colour is gorgeous and just screams Autumn! What I love most is the shape and fit, it looks stylish and expensive! I do own the same hat in black as you may recognise from previous OOTD but being a hat lover I just HAD to have the burgundy too! I can’t wait to wear my burgundy hat with many other outfits, It is the perfect addition to my A/W wardrobe and I am looking forward to the endless Autumn style combinations.
